Synchronizing my iPhone
Dear Steve Jobs
Please fix the iPhone synchronization problem. It has just taken me about 1 hour to synchronize my iPhone all because of the very, very poor Backing Up that is happening.
This is not acceptable

Looks like this could be fixed with Update 2.0.1

This has NOT been fixed with my iPhone still takes over an hour to backup the phone very poor.

Now living in the Chicago Suburbs I have been here for nearly 4 years now still working for CSC as a Systems Architect, I mainly work out of the house so that is nice. I have been working in IT for over 15 years now.
I am now married to my lovely wife Terri we have 1 son Christopher who is now 1 year old and a beautiful daughter Caroline who was just born on June 28th.
Before Chicago I lived in Spain for a year in a small town called Candas. Before Spain I lived in Whitehaven, Cumbria for 2.5 years where I had some great times and always look forward to visiting when I am back in the UK. Before Whitehaven I lived in my home town of Askam-in-Furness where i spent many a happy year with my family and friends.

How much data are you transferring? If you are transferring a ton of podcasts or other data everytime, then it is bound to take a while. However if you are just syncing it to save your contacts, etc. then an hour is definately too long. Maybe you should try to get in touch with technical support. Do you have an Apple Store near you? I would try bringing it to them if its a big deal to you.
Transferring data is not the problem the problem is this “Backing Up iPhone” this is the part that takes a long time and from what I am reading I am not alone with this issue
